I founded Jazznewblood in 2015 with a mission to profile, support, and promote a new generation of exceptionally talented jazz musicians and bands aged 14–24 from around the world, with a particular focus on the UK and Europe. The project is developed through a multidisciplinary approach, combining image, audio, and video to document and amplify emerging voices in jazz.
Key initiatives include:
-
Strategic social media campaigns supporting young musicians’ visibility and growth
-
+jazznewbloodALIVE, a showcase series presented as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival
-
Annual digital releases for International Jazz Day, featuring live recordings from the showcases
-
Jazznewblood digital label, dedicated to emerging artists
-
A growing photo, audio, and video archive documenting the youth jazz scene
-
A promotional photography programme offering affordable, professional-quality images to young musicians
-
Artist consulting and booking support, creating more live performance opportunities
